Admission in BS

Admission Criteria (BSc Honors Program)

The University is very selective in admissions and demanding on those who enroll. All applicants are considered on their individual merit. Admissions are based on the nature of courses taken and grades obtained.
Students are selected for admission after evaluation of the following factors: Academic Record - 12 years of education (FA /FSc, A-Levels, High School Diploma or International Baccalaureate)
SAT I or SAT II scores OR LUMS admission test score.
SAT I or SAT II scores OR LUMS admission test score.
SAT II with one of the following subjects:
Math IIC
Writing
Physics
Literature
World History
Chemistry
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
SAT I: This is a three-hour test, primarily multiple-choice, that measures verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities. SAT II: Subject Tests are one-hour, multiple-choice tests that measure your knowledge of particular subjects and your ability to apply that knowledge.

LUMS Admission Test
In order to provide flexibility and choice to Pakistani students, LUMS is introducing its won admission test from the year 2005. This will be a multiple-choice test measuring verbal, mathematics and analytical ability of the students.
Academic Record
To apply for admission to the undergraduate programmes, a student must have any one of the following academic qualifications:
Advanced Level (at least an average of “C” grade across three principal subjects. No credit will be given for any Subsidiary, General or Advanced Supplementary paper)
FA/FSc (at least 60%)
American High School Diploma (at least 60%)
International Baccalaureate (at least 28 or above points out of 45)
Any other equivalent qualification (minimum acceptable scores will be determined by the Admissions Committee). The decision of the Admissions Committee will be final.

Admission in Master Programs

Admission Criteria of MBA
For admission to the MBA programme, preference will be given to candidates with sixteen years of education. The minimum academic requirement to be eligible for admission to the MBA Programme is a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a college or a university recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. Students without a bachelor’s degree will not be considered for the MBA Programme.
Admission Criteria of MBA Executive
For MBA Executive the applicants will be judged on following criteria:

GMAT or LMAT score
Interview
Letter of Recommendation
